Although the PA provides services in areas of education and health, Israel has undermined its authority, particularly in the area of security.

Services

A Division of Headquarters Security and Safety Services has been set up to provide policy and operational guidance to major duty stations and regional commissions and to coordinate personal protection functions.

They also work closely with the Department of Security Services and administrative staff to ensure the provision of appropriate and agreed levels of security, administrative and logistic support.

The ISPs (rather than governments) should provide basic security anti virus, anti phishing, anti spam, and the like as a regular feature of consumer Internet services.
