We are certain that the committed execution of the Court's mandate remains a main pillar for the promotion and sustenance of the rule of law, good governance, democracy, human rights and, above all, the fight against impunity.

Now we need to get this thing into practice.

The Court obliged the Belgian State, because the couple was not indicted after a two and a half year investigation, to initiate a de listing request to the United Nations under penalty of a daily fine for delay in performance.
