This will be done by benchmarking practices and achievements against relevant best practices in the internal auditing profession.

The Chairperson welcomed the opportunity to exchange views with the treaty bodies and stated that monitoring of the implementation of human rights treaties by independent experts provided the Commission and other human rights mechanisms with key inputs, and allowed for the sharing of best practices among States.
