The Section successfully negotiated with all relevant national authorities for the provision of temporary travel documents, enabling the witnesses to travel to and from Arusha.

Provision is made for official travel between the Fund's New York and Geneva offices ( 162,500).

No increase is requested over the provision for travel approved for the biennium 2004 2005.

The provision also covers the travel of Headquarters staff to the Mission area to provide support on various aspects of the peace process as well as logistical and administrative support ( 869,800).

The Protocol further establishes a series of supplementary offences related to the production, provision and possession of fraudulent travel or identity documents that can be used to facilitate smuggling (art. 6, para.

Provision is therefore made for internal audit ( 1,195,500) to cover costs of general temporary assistance ( 908,000), consultancy ( 250,000), travel of staff ( 10,000) and training, equipment, communications and supplies, furniture and equipment ( 27,500).

The non post resources of 841,900 reflect a decrease of 43,200 compared to the provision for 2004 05 in view of reductions in the resources requested under general temporary assistance, consultants and official travel.

Provision is made for official travel of the Special Representative of the Secretary General as well as senior staff of the Mission to New York, Geneva and regional countries for meetings and consultations ( 1,683,500).
