As regards the access control project, in line with the provisions of General Assembly resolution 59 294, a project access control team has been set up.

The Mobile Access Project is a three year pilot project that began in March 2004 and provides mobile overnight services for women who work in the street level sex trade in the Downtown Eastside area of Vancouver. The project aims to reduce violence against women sex trade workers, and improve their access to basic and preventive health services.
