Until recently, Enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Human resource management systems (HRMS) software did not support matrix reporting.

Recently, in the international debate on the sustainable management of marine resources and the protection of marine ecosystems, there has been a strong focus on the high seas.

Those are related to hunger, disease, natural resource management, environmental pollution and climate change.

In promoting CP, UNIDO is increasingly employing the concept of sustainable industrial resource management.

The main goal of this project is promote sustainable natural resource management by giving local communities rights to wildlife management and tourism.

Although humans cause the greatest threat to our marine environment, humans also have the ability to create effective management plans that will be the key to successful marine conservation.

Marine scientific research can lead to a better understanding and utilization of the ocean and its resources in almost all aspects, including fisheries, marine pollution and coastal zone management.

In 2004, UNEP initiated a feasibility study on sustainable management of marine litter (see para. 18 above).

These cover such issues as chemical wastes and integrated approaches to the management of coastal areas and the conservation and management of marine resources and ecosystems.

Tourism can also bring negative social impacts that have important consequences for environmental resource management.

We will, of course, do everything in our power, subject to our resource constraints, to investigate and address those two issues, and we support the call on States in the draft resolution before us to integrate the issue of marine debris with waste management.

Over the longer term, the aim should be to conclude an international agreement on resource management. Notwithstanding resource rich developing countries positive prospects, the sustainable management of natural resources, like efforts to promote financial transparency, requires global coordination.

The Plan also recognizes that some marine environments and the resources they hold need special protection and management.

We strongly believe that all States should apply effective measures for the conservation, management and exploitation of fish stocks in order to protect living marine resources and preserve the marine environment.

The Government has plans for institutional strengthening and human resource development in order to effectively manage the island's fisheries and other marine resources.1

A prerequisite for informed decision making and resource management is information on rainfall, crops and vegetation.
