Community Panel

The Community Panel at the Workshop was designed to examine decentralization from the perspective of local communities.

The High level Panel identified transnational organized crime as one of six key threats currently facing the global community.

Interestingly, Minister of Finance told the Panel, in one of the meetings in early May, that the panel should inform the international community that he had not signed the contract but his deputy had signed it on his behalf.

The Panel considers that the international business community should be encouraged, through their corporate social responsibility schemes, to provide resources to meet these needs.

However, in line with its mandate, the Panel has listed hereunder a number of recommendations requiring priority action by the international community and the United Nations system.

The Panel urges the international community to support the building of infrastructure in support of the NEPAD goal of enabling trade within Africa to grow to mutual advantage.

This function may be performed by a judge, a panel of judges, or a jury panel composed of unbiased citizens.

In accordance with the Governing Council's instructions, these eligible claims were reviewed by the D2 Panel of Commissioners (the Panel ).

The Scientific Assessment Panel and the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel have subsequently provided more information, and the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel was asked to report annually on n PB use and emissions.
