National synergy workshops A national synergy workshop was organized in Kyrgyzstan in 2004.

(a) Determination of opportunities for synergism among conventions, and the identification of specific areas and criteria for project development and assessment in which synergy would be appropriate.

In response, a paper was prepared describing possible areas for future collaboration, including on issues relating to capacity building, technical advice, synergy and adaptation.

Synergy within the Convention and other MEAs

The Board is glad to report that, in the matter of implementation of recommendations as well as in other areas, synergy has continued to be fully achieved with the Office of Internal Oversight Services.

Drawing on the synergy between health and nutrition and in collaboration with other partners, UNICEF will focus on supporting interrelated, strategic results in the areas of maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition

The GoE discussed the possible development of a white paper on synergy taking into account the results of the Viterbo workshop.

It is a holistic approach that can facilitate the integration and synergy of all of the great social movements of our time.

This priority area could provide an implementation framework for the synergy between desertification and climate change conventions.
