The Advisory Committee notes there is no information on quick impact projects in the budget document.

That budget was submitted in document A 46 855 the Advisory Committee apos s related report was submitted to the General Assembly in document A 46 873.

In this context, the Advisory Committee recalls its recommendation contained in paragraph 41 of document A 47 990.

2. The Advisory Committee commends UNFPA for its efforts in improving the format and presentation of the budget document.

The document provides the views of the Advisory Committee on budget presentation, income and expenditure projections and the financial reserve.

Mr. MSELLE (Chairman of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions) introduced the report of the Advisory Committee on Financing of the United Nations Peace keeping Force in Cyprus (document A 47 1004).

UNMIS and the national Advisory Council for Human Rights drafted a clarification document, which was intended to be issued before 20 June.

The report, which was prepared by the Advisory Panel to the Consultative Committee, is contained in document A 60 62 E 2005 10.

As a result of the questions asked by the Advisory Committee, the Secretariat prepared a corrigendum as contained in document A 49 375 Corr.1, which the Advisory Committee examined on the basis of an advanced copy.

The Advisory Committee apos s views with regard to the local salary scale have been reflected in paragraph 32 of document A 47 984.

19. The Advisory Committee trusts that the new budget document will contain consistent treatment of estimates for policy making organs and executive direction and management.

2. The Advisory Committee notes that document A 48 850 Add.1 was prepared pursuant to General Assembly resolution 48 239 of 24 March 1994.

1. The Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions has considered the report of the Secretary General contained in document A C.5 49 29.

That report, contained in document A 46 934 Add.1, was considered by the Advisory Committee at its special session in New York in July the Committee apos s related report is contained in document A 46 945.

The Advisory Committee notes from document A 60 537 that a comprehensive report on the independent oversight advisory committee was to be the subject of a separate report to be submitted to the General Assembly at its sixtieth session.

In the opinion of the Advisory Committee, the intense pressure under which the Secretariat prepared the report resulted in a document that is not totally coherent.

Furthermore, table 1 in document A C.5 47 24 Corr.1 was based on a new methodology which the Advisory Committee had yet to examine.

In its report (E CN.7 2005 9), the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions had commended the overall quality, format and clarity of the document.

The Advisory Committee intends to revert to this matter in the context of its consideration of Secretary General apos s report contained in document A 48 945.

However, the Advisory Committee failed to detect a clear rationale that would explain the proposals put forward in document A C.5 47 2 and Corr.1 and those contained in paragraphs 11 and 13 of document A C.5 47 88.

The Advisory Committee recommended acceptance of the Secretary General's proposals contained in document A 59 759 concerning the donation of UNAMSIL assets to the Government of Sierra Leone.

115. At the 51st meeting, the Chairman of the Advisory Committee said that the Committee was recommending acceptance of the proposals in document A C.5 47 85.

The Advisory Committee considered the above mentioned document and submitted its recommendations and observations to the Fifth Committee in a report dated 17 December 1993 (A 48 777).

On 6 December 1994, the Advisory Committee was provided with new estimates amounting to 198,684,000 gross ( 196,219,900 net). These are attached to the present document as annex VIII.
