The officer liaises with the prisoners' affairs officer and all administrative staff and guards.

The Office of the Chief Executive Officer comprises the Chief Executive Officer, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Legal Officer, the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, and conference support and administrative staff.

The Advisory Committee notes that a total of 91 new posts are requested under this component, including 1 in the office of the Chief Administrative Officer, 20 under administrative services, 27 under integrated support services and 43 in the Security Section.

(a) It is proposed to establish a Joint Mission Analysis Cell staffed with one Senior Political Affairs Officer (P 5), one Analyst (P 3) and one Administrative Assistant (General Service (Other level)).

Currently, UNAT has four posts, including a P 5 post for the Executive Secretary, a P 3 post for the Legal Officer and two General Service posts providing administrative and technical support.

Depending on their duties, the prison officer, the prisoners' affairs officer and the supervisor of the women's prison all hold the rank of law enforcement officer.

The Executive Director shall be the chief administrative officer of the Organization and shall be responsible to the Council for the administration and operation of this Agreement in accordance with decisions of the Council.
