The Office of the Prosecutor and the Registry have established a field office in Uganda.

The case was still pending as the Court ordered the Attorney General's office to respond to the petition.14

The budget proposals under posts for the individual organs of the Tribunal reflect the transfer of 15 posts from the Office of the Prosecutor to the Registry.

He argues that remaining remedies are futile, as the District Office decided against the spirit of the decision of the Constitutional Court, and that a judgement by the Supreme Court could only overturn a decision from the District Office, without making a final determination.

The Office of the Prosecutor and the Registry have devoted particular attention to working closely together in the field.

We thank the Prosecutor for briefing the Security Council on the Office of the Prosecutor's activities in Darfur and all for similar cooperation whenever deemed appropriate.

Personnel services for the Tribunal secretariat, which are distinct from and not related to the services that the Secretariat renders to the Tribunal itself, can be provided from an existing executive office, such as the Executive Office of the Office of the Secretary General.

Even the US Supreme Court has now said that the US Patent Office went too far in granting patents on genes.

More significantly, the Office of the High Representative oversaw the transfer of almost all domestic legal staff from the Rule of Law Department to the Court.

The strategy he is implementing as he leads the Office of the Prosecutor guarantees that the Court will contribute to post conflict peace and reconciliation as it dispenses justice.

Articles 35 mandates the court to give the Public Prosecutor's office the right to monitor and record online communications as well as obtaining any log in data it deems necessary for investigations.

65. In the absence of a permanent independent prosecutorial office, a case could only be brought before a court on complaint from a State party or the Security Council.

The Office of the Prosecutor remains fully committed to do its utmost, within the framework of its mandate, to meet the other objectives of the completion strategy in close co operation with the President and the Chambers.

These field operations are joint initiatives of the Office of the Prosecutor and the Registry and carry out the functions described in the sections below on the activities of each organ.

In addition to its activities at headquarters, with the launching of the three investigations by the Office of the Prosecutor, the Registry is establishing and developing field operations.

During the period under review, administrative arrangements on cooperation were concluded between the Registry of the Tribunal and the following organizations or bodies the International Labour Office and the secretariat of the Asian African Legal Consultative Organization.

On 30 June 1999, the Tashkent Prosecutor's Office informed her that there were no reasons to annul the court's rulings in her case.

Comment by the Administration. In preparing the budget for the biennium 2004 2005, the Tribunal discussed with the Office of Programme Planning, Budget and Accounts the modalities of funding mechanisms which would cater for such liabilities.

(i) Office of the Chief of the Geneva Office

It urged further cooperation between the Court and the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL) in the acquisition of equipment and requested that thought should be given to how to run the New York liaison office as economically as possible.

In paragraph 122 of the report, the Tribunal agreed with the Board's recommendation that it continue its efforts to reduce the vacancy rates, with special emphasis on the Office of the Prosecutor.

The State Union of Serbia and Montenegro and its member States would like to express their firm commitment to the successful and full completion of cooperation with the ICTY, in particular the Prosecutor's Office.

In paragraph 83, the Board further recommended that the Tribunal, in consultation with the Office of Internal Oversight Services, investigate contracts that may have been awarded under similar circumstances.

In the opinion of the Committee, the complete separation of the secretariat of the Administrative Tribunal from the Office of Legal Affairs and its placement under section 1 of the budget would provide the safeguard sought by the Assembly.

Firstly, the author stated that he complained about his conviction to the Office of the Public Defender, who, it appears, reviewed the author's case, and prepared a recommendation to the Presidium of the Supreme Court.

In addition, if the recommendations of OIOS are implemented, as outlined in document A 59 706, they would lead to an increase in the number of cases submitted to the Tribunal.
