Kick start of Working Groups (CPWG) and areas of work.

The exchange of experiences has enabled a better formulation and implementation of NAPs, subregional action programmes (SRAPs) and regional action programmes (RAPs), including the regional thematic programme networks (TPNs), and promoted their implementation.

The implementation of the RAPs takes place through TPNs, each of which focuses on a specific priority area defined in the RAP, with a view to promote best practices.

Groups including CCIVS, NVDA, Group Work Foundation, and Service Civil International (SCI) are a few providing International work camps.

The Agency continues to focus on building business partnerships and relationships with employer groups and individual employers.

In the framework of the African RAP, four thematic programme networks (TPNs) concerning water resources, agroforestry, rangelands and monitoring, have been launched and further substantive development is underway.

Ms. Obaid chaired the United Nations Inter Agency Task Force on Gender in Amman, Jordan, in 1996.

The armed forces had small demining teams, but other smaller groups were being formed to accelerate the work.

I turn now to the subject of our thematic debate.

In work beginning in 1829, Döbereiner discovered trends in certain properties of selected groups of elements.

This thematic cluster addresses the core of the Convention.

Through regional action programmes (RAPs), the African, Asian and Latin American and Caribbean affected country Parties identify the priority thematic areas for coordination and cooperation at the regional level.

With similar sincerity we further welcome the insightful conferences and workshops that have been organized by Russia and China in collaboration with other institutions on PAROS.

This parallel development of different clients by different groups remains the modus operandi of gnutella development today.

Four Suits

Our thematic debates have been more interactive and more interesting.

United Nations gender thematic groups at the country level

We shall now begin our thematic discussion on the issue of nuclear weapons.

They may organize labour exchanges with other women, work longer hours or, if they have income from sources such as remittances, hire additional labour.

TPN 5 on traditional knowledge and TPN 6 on renewable energy are currently being developed by the country Parties of the region, with the support of the secretariat.

In their national reports, developing countries in particular state that they are greatly constrained in the implementation of the proposals for action in all thematic areas, owing to insufficient financial resources for programme delivery.

It would be desirable to set up joint working groups with the countries concerned to establish, monitor, and adjust individual action plans.
