The launches were complemented by a series of workshops and new project developments, concrete initiatives embodying the recommendations of the report.

The report, which is contained in the annex to the present note, was prepared by the five regional commissions and is submitted in compliance with the aforementioned request.

Representatives of the Office of Internal Oversight Services introduced the report and responded to the questions raised during the Committee's consideration of the report.

The Committee will consider it in detail in the weeks to come.

The final report of the working group was issued in May 2004 WFP continued to engage in the various task forces to implement the report's recommendations.
