Then We cracked the earth open under pressure ( of germination )

Then We split the earth properly .

Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts ,

And We split the earth in fragments ,

Simply, it takes them out of the negative vicious circle of poverty and violence.

Now put your hand into your bosom , and it will come forth shining without any blemish . ( These are two of the ) nine Signs to be carried to Pharaoh and his people .

Why were bracelets of gold not bestowed upon him ? Why did a retinue of angels not accompany him as attendants ?

And put thy hand into the bosom of thy robe , it will come forth white but unhurt . ( This will be one ) among nine tokens unto Pharaoh and his people Lo ! they were ever evil living folk .
