We continue to believe that the collective moral force of this Organization is indispensable for a secure, peaceful and humane world.

We continue to face strong headwinds originating from the deepening European debt crisis, as well as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

We British are still members of the European Union (at least for the time being), but sometimes our politicians forget that.

I believe that all of us have come here with the clear conviction that we are still far from reaching our objectives, and that we cannot fail to meet the expectations that have been created.

The result was a host of policies based not on evidence, but on inadequately examined ideas.

We continue to urge the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to return to full compliance with its international non proliferation obligations under the Treaty, including its safeguards agreement with IAEA.

And so all of us have this remarkable brain, which is poorly understood to say the least.

So we remain far short of full employment for the third reason.

Our efforts in reconstruction and other sectors are directed at promoting unity and reconciliation.

A long and unpredictable path is ahead but there is still hope.

We stress the need for a united response and our desire to reduce the vulnerability of Central America and to promote the process of reconstruction and transformation in that region.

My country has suffered from the scourge of war for so long, and we are determined, through the Government of National Unity, to bring about a real change on the ground so as to realize our reconstruction goals, development and unity.

C. The reconstruction process

Pakistan continues to look forward to the voluntary return, in safety and honour, of the 3 million Afghan refugees whom we still host.

Why do we continue to see human rights trampled with impunity? Why do States continue to commit serious breaches of international law? Why are hundreds of millions of people still living in poverty and indignity?

We are also working on doubling the job creation rate of recent years, with the aim of adding one million jobs in the period 2010 2014.

In Uganda, in addition to the usual causes of conflict, we have been fighting a fanatical, satanic rebel group, the self styled Lord's Resistance Army.

So we ask that you join us in rediscovering the value of citizens united, and to declare that we are all still pioneers.

Major improvements have been made in the situation of young women and young men in many areas, but we are still facing great challenges.

We actually don't know.

These technologies currently are too expensive. They are also unreliable (we still have no idea what to do when the wind is not blowing).
