28D.1 The Office of Central Support Services is responsible for the implementation of the work programme under this section.

Support to these complex specialized information systems will be provided by the Executive Office, given the fact that they fall outside the scope of the Information Technology Services Division of the Office of Central Support Services.

In a coordinating role, a regional centre requires little technical infrastructure and, being housed in the UNEP regional office, has the required administrative support to undertake its work successfully.
