Work of the Monitoring Team

The Monitoring Team has established a close and effective working relationship with the Committee and Member States.

An expert review team member's obligation not to disclose confidential information shall continue after termination of his or her service on the expert review team.

Various activities have been undertaken by the secretariat in supporting the CST programme of work and the activities of the Group of Experts (GoE).

I put a team together, a little over 13 months ago, got up to 20 some odd people.

During the mandate period, the investigations of the Monitoring Group did not reveal any major arms shipment by air, unlike a trend that was very common during the earlier days covered by the Panel of Experts.
