The SCO has also signed memorandums of understanding with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

The Government of the Philippines made efforts to implement the Almaty Programme of Action within the framework of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Brunei Darussalam, together with other ASEAN Member States, is a party to the South East Asia Nuclear Weapons Free Zone Treaty.

China held 610 billion in reserves and India, 125 billion.5 Members of ASEAN, the Republic of Korea and Taiwan Province of China also hold very sizeable reserves.

Thailand had joined the other members of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) in establishing the South East Asia Nuclear Weapon Free Zone (SEANWFZ), and urged the nuclear weapon States to accede to the Protocol to the SEANWFZ Treaty.

In October 2003, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) signed a watershed agreement to establish an economic community by 2020.

Hence, Turkey strongly supports ASEAN's decision to establish a regional mechanism on disaster prevention, particularly a regional early warning system in the Indian Ocean and South East Asian region.

This rate is also the worst among ASEAN countries.

We thank the countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations for their initiative, which has gathered us here today.

There is, to start, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

A year ago at their Cebu (Philippines) summit, the leaders of ASEAN adopted the ASEAN Convention Against Terrorism.

ASEAN member States had adopted the ASEAN Declaration against Trafficking in Persons, particularly Women and Children in November 2004.

The United Nations and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations agreed to closer relations.

The President I now give the floor to the representative of Malaysia, who will introduce draft resolution A 60 L.20 on behalf of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
