The Executive Committee adopted by consensus the following agenda (A AC.96 1004)

All new Executive Directorate staff will continue to receive the necessary training in order to become familiar with the work and procedures of the Committee and the Executive Directorate and thereby enhance their productivity.

Draft decision XVII DD Membership of the Executive Committee of the Multilateral Fund

Working Group of the Commission on Human Rights to elaborate a draft declaration in accordance with paragraph 5 of General Assembly resolution 49 214 of 23 December 1994

The Executive Directorate will continue to ensure follow up to the decisions of the Committee, monitor their execution and evaluate their results.

The report includes a number of suggestions that have been considered by the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee must report annually to the Meeting of the Parties.

The Committee will be assisted in its implementation of this work programme by the Counter Terrorism Committee Executive Directorate through implementation in turn of the Executive Directorate's second work programme (see appendix).

The final decision date was set after the Executive Committee meeting in November 2010.

In 2004 the Executive Committee consisted of 66 member countries.

UN Habitat recently became a member of the Executive Committee for Humanitarian Affairs.
