Noting the attempts to exploit the issue of human rights to discredit the principles and rules of Islamic Shariah and to interfere in the affairs of Islamic States

The differences between Arab and non Arab Muslim countries are striking.

Having noted with satisfaction the achievements recorded by the Islamic States Broadcasting Organization (ISBO) in the service of Islamic dawa, the spreading of Arab League, the exchange of programmes and defence of Islamic causes

And such rising expectations have been visible in all large Muslim countries.

This conclusion is based on comparing Muslim countries' electoral competitiveness.

Other Muslim states seem to grasp this recently, a Turk was chosen for the first time and by a majority vote to be Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Countries.

The Conference called on Member States to pay their annual contributions and arrears to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA) and the Islamic Broadcasting Organization's (ISBO) budgets to enable them to fulfill their responsibilities.

This might also account in part for the differences between Muslim countries.

Urges Member States to support IINA through the following

Extends thanks to the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) for preparing a feasibility study on the project that documents and classifies archeological and historical Islamic sites and archeological heritage in Member States, and urges them to explore ways to finance it.

Calls on ISBO to publish the Islamic States' Television Production Guide in collaboration with them.

Empowered by Arab leaders, Jordan s King Abdullah II officially presented the peace plan devised by the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic States.

Commitment of Member States to implement the resolutions adopted by Summit and Ministerial Conferences.

Invite the Member States to issue the necessary internal legislation that regulates the Islamic Boycott against Israel.

Calls upon the Member States to extend all support to the Programme in the spirit of progress and development of the Islamic Ummah.

Calls on the Member States, the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic institutions to provide financial and material assistance to the project of the Islamic Centre.

Also expressing its deep concern at the continued threats to the security of and solidarity among Member States, the increased number of crises affecting the Islamic Ummah and at attempts to undermine the Islamic values and identity

Recalling its resolutions No.42 31 P on adoption a unified stand at international fora and No.44 31 P on Strengthening Coordination and Consultation among Islamic States

Reaffirms the total solidarity of the Islamic States with Syria and Lebanon to confront the continuous Israeli aggressions and threats against them, and invites all the Islamic States to express this solidarity in a practical manner and by the use of all means, as well as to stand firm with Syria and Lebanon against any Israeli aggressions targeting them.

Welcomes the offer by the Republic of Azerbaijan to host the 5th Islamic Conference of Tourism Ministers in Baku in 2006.

Requests Member States to promote coordination and cooperation among environment monitoring networks and remote control sensing Centers and coastal control posts and all other environment protection organs in Islamic States.

To emphasize the importance of adopting an approach of moderation and solidarity as a means of further reinforcing the links of solidarity and brotherhood among Islamic States, and with various human cultures and civilizations.

Expresses firm determination of the Member States to preserve and promote Islamic values in all spheres of life, especially those of solidarity and mutual respect
