In this context, activities will be aimed at the elaboration of population studies and comparative analysis of social and demographic variables, and the application of population techniques in socio economic planning.

Efforts will be concentrated on the elaboration of socio demographic policies and assisting member States in increasing their national capacities in the area of population studies and analyses.

Much of the quantitative information available from the studies on those populations is limited to fairly high doses and dose rates.
