These could be built around existing commercial relationships on environmentally sound technologies, in support of multilateral environmental agreement implementation, and on existing mechanisms such as the UNEP Finance Initiative regional task forces, which are engaging commercial banks on a range of sustainability issues.

6. Thus our proposal most decidedly agrees with the need to use existing funding mechanisms, but the fact remains that not enough is being done.
