This report contains updates with additional information to the note by the Secretariat on the situation of human rights in Turkmenistan (E CN.4 2004 118) submitted to the Commission on Human Rights in 2004.

The Commission took note with appreciation of the report of the Executive Director on the consolidated budget outline for 2006 2007, in particular the clarity and conciseness of the report, and the additional information provided by the Secretariat.
