After the depositary informs the Council that the requirements for entry into force of the amendment have been met, and notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 2 of this article relating to the date fixed by the Council, a member may still notify the depositary of its acceptance of the amendment, provided that such notification is made before the entry into force of the amendment.

3. Notification of a subsequent assignment constitutes notification of all prior assignments.

2. Notification of the assignment or a payment instruction may relate to receivables arising after notification.

The Secretariat has also received notification from the Depositary regarding ratification of the Beijing Amendment by the following Parties Cuba, Ireland, Kyrgyzstan and Romania.
