Underwriting the Future of Climate Science

Chinese savings are underwriting much of the American civilizing mission that Ferguson applauds.

Borrowing is also supported by an easing of credit standards and new financial products that increase leverage and widen the range of assets that can be borrowed against.

But the other credit crisis is equally consequential, and receives much less attention, even as it erodes societies integrity, productive capabilities, and ability to maintain living standards (particularly for the least fortunate).
