Special event on the theme Celebrating the global South Diversity and creativity , on the occasion of the Second United Nations Day for South South Cooperation (sponsored by the Special Unit for South South Cooperation, United Nations Development Programme)

The Plan of Action adopted by the Second South Summit included a substantial section on South South cooperation.

It will promote South South cooperation through the Tokyo International Conference on Africa's development process and by providing support to various South South forums.

The impact of South South FDI on host developing countries has not been much studied recently.

North Darfur is bounded on the northwest by Libya, on the north by Northern State, on the east by Northern State and North Kurdufan, on the southeast by South Kurdufan, on the south by South Darfur, and on the west by West Darfur and the Republic of Chad.

Because of its positive impact on the global development process, South South cooperation as a complement to North South cooperation deserves our continued support.
