Aside from importing basic goods, China exports manufactured goods throughout the region.

Exports of goods of local origin were negligible.

Major exports include petroleum products, textile goods, jewellery, software, engineering goods, chemicals, and leather manufactures.

Vanuatu receives income from two principal exports, goods and services.

Meanwhile, exports of such goods from developing countries, which tend to experience more violence, grew at a rate of 13.5 , reaching 176 billion (43 of total world trade in creative industries) in 2008.

Whereas German exports are falling at an annual rate of 20 , the portion of imports that does not consist of intermediate products for export goods is stable, helping the world as a whole.

By contrast, the lower dollar makes reduced consumption consistent with full employment by shifting consumer spending from imports to domestic goods and services, and by supplementing this rise in domestic demand with increased exports.

To date, the European Union has adopted Council Regulation No. 131 of 28 January 2004, and Council Regulation No. 1353 of 27 July 2004, imposing restrictions on exports of military goods and or technologies.

Nevertheless, scope remains for the liberalization and rationalization of tariffs in non agricultural goods, particularly for the removal of tariff bias, tariff escalation and tariff peaks affecting developing country exports in their major markets.
