Funded accredited private schools receive 60 percent of the base instruction rate provided to public schools, but do not receive funding for transportation, administration, operation and plant maintenance, or English Second Language funding.

The implementation of the Renewed Funding Framework for the public system resulted in a slight increase in funding for private schools as the base instruction rate increased, but does not represent any specific change in policy.
