A mock inspection was conducted as part of the course.

The Commission is grateful to the British Government for its support for this training course.

The course was also designed to enable participants to give similar courses themselves.

Most students registering for the course are women (65 ).

Training Course on Key Issues on the International Economic Agenda

The training course was centered on business management and it involved 229 participants.

There is a 2 3 day crisis management exercise at the end of the Course.

The Government of Mozambique, as host to the training workshop, provided excellent support in ensuring the successful outcome of the workshop.

In 2005, soldiers of the Air Force Air Defense Wing have started the respective training course.

This training course has now been received by over 1 of the Australian adult population.

Overall, the feedback from the participants indicated that the training course was successful and was found useful.

As host to the workshop, the Government of the Republic of Korea, through the Korea Energy Economics Institute, also provided financial and excellent logistical support to the workshop.

Representatives from SOPAC and the Commonwealth Secretariat attended the training course as well.

As of March 2005, the Unit had established a gender component in the civilian staff induction training.

The instructors for the training course were Karl Hinz and Iain Lamont, both former members of the Commission.

This course provides tools to improve the work of expert review teams and facilitate teamwork.

Latvia developed a training programme for civil servants on gender equality and plans to make the course obligatory.

The Institute's training programmes for capacity building are further reinforced by information exchange, technical cooperation, advocacy and publications.

The programme supported the organization of the training course to provide methodological tools for project preparation for submission to the GEF.

(c) Facilitating cooperation in research and access to scientific and technical knowledge

A module and pedagogical material on ICT and tourism, which is part of a TrainForTrade training course on 'Sustainable tourism for development', was validated in a seminar in Mali in September 2005.

The Legal Counsel informed the Commission that the second training course for the countries of the Indian Ocean region would be convened the following month in Sri Lanka.

The field office shipped detection and protective equipment, required to support the Biological Advanced Course, to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The field office shipped to Vienna detection and protective equipment necessary to support the multidisciplinary training course held there from 2 to 13 May.

With respect to illiteracy, the Constitution stipulates that adults shall be provided with opportunities to educate themselves and to develop skills through education and training programmes.

To date, it is estimated that more than 60,000 staff members have completed the training course along with an equal or greater number of staff from non governmental and intergovernmental organizations.
