Functions of the Administrative Law Unit

I studied the Administrative Law and I occupied several administrative and management positions.

The functions of the Administrative Law Unit related to appeals include

The Supreme Court being the highest court in the land, shall rule on the law, which means that it does not review the facts of a case but only rules on the proper application of the law.

In paragraph 29 of that resolution, the Assembly noted that the Administrative Law Unit had the multiple functions of administrative review, appeals, disciplinary matters and advisory services.

In view of the substantive and resource considerations outlined above, it is the view of the Secretary General that it would not be in the interests of the Organization to separate the functions of the Administrative Law Unit.

Their applications were rejected by the schools concerned, and on administrative appeal to the Regional Director of Education, on the ground that such exemption was not authorized under the Act.
