Budget presentation

The improvements made to budget presentation, and the indication of the objectives to be attained, had facilitated the review of the proposed programme budget.

The document provides the views of the Advisory Committee on budget presentation, income and expenditure projections and the financial reserve.

In accordance with established practice, the proposed programme budget is normally presented at the same price levels and rates of exchange as the current programme budget.

The budgetary constraints are presented in detail in document ICCD COP(7) 2 Add.3.

Scarce resources must not be diverted from their intended purposes and the Secretariat's next budget submission should provide the Advisory Committee and Member States with detailed information on the Mission's activities.
