I wish to congratulate you, Mr. President, on your assumption of the presidency of the Security Council for the month of February.

In 2015 Latvia hold the presidency of Council of the European Union.

We also congratulate Denmark on its exemplary handling of the presidency of the Security Council for the month of May.

The project is being lead jointly by co chairs representing the Council of Yukon First Nations and the Yukon government.

Ms. Onubogu I would like to congratulate the delegation of Romania on its assumption of the presidency of the Security Council.

I have the honour to enclose the assessment of the work of the Security Council during the presidency of the People's Republic of China in April 2005 (see annex).

It is no coincidence that George W. Bush s and Putin s disastrous presidencies were cotemporaneous.

During this period, the Minister took over the chairmanship of the Ministerial Cooperation Council on Police Matters, the aim of which is to improve cooperation between and among different police agencies.

I would like to join the others who have congratulated you, Sir, on your assumption of the presidency of the Security Council during the month of December, and would like to thank Council members, through you, for holding an open meeting to discuss this important matter.

The current debate takes over from the previous consideration of the subject in the Security Council on 20 July 2004, under the Romanian presidency.

During the month of February 2005, the presidency of the Security Council was held by Benin, represented by Rogatien Biaou, Minister for Foreign Affairs and African Integration, and by Joël Wassi Adechi, Permanent Representative to the United Nations.

We note the creation of the Coordination Council, comprised of the President of the Court, the Prosecutor and the Registrar, and reiterate the importance of that Council in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Court's work and the development of its strategic plans. We further consider the Court's creation of an internal oversight mechanism to be key to ensuring transparency and confidence in the Court's abilities.

CAMBRIDGE For the first time in decades, a United States senator will become the next American president as all three of the remaining candidates Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and John McCain are members of the Senate.

During the same period, there have been 10 South Korean presidents and 11 US presidents.

Let me explain by going back to the end of the inflationary 1970 s, when President Jimmy Carter appointed Paul Volcker to lead the Fed.
