The focus of concern here is the applicability of HRsL in situations of conflict.

As a separate but related issue, the paper considers the extent to which human rights law is applicable outside the national territory of a party to a conflict.

(a) Considering the diverse jurisprudential basis of air law and space law, the range of its applicability should be rationally determined.

It was therefore necessary that bridging information be submitted to demonstrate how an evaluation made under another multilateral environmental agreement applied to the prevailing conditions in the notifying country.

They were not concerned with legalisms, about whether, technically, the Geneva conventions did or did not apply. They were concerned about basic canons of human rights.

7. The parties are free to agree to exclude the applicability of this Law.

The issue of the extraterritorial applicability of HRsL does not arise.

The Court has never referred to the applicability of LOAC IHL.

The variability of the draft convention's scope of application could entail legal uncertainty for the sector.

There is first the difficulty of determining whether the doctrine can be applied in the field of HRsL.

Lastly, he, too, was concerned about the applicability of the Convention in the occupied Palestinian territories.

There are two different types of problem in establishing the applicability of LOAC IHL.

Moreover, the convention as drafted would have a very extensive spatial and material scope of application.
