We recognize that a lasting solution to ethnic issues and to terrorism in my country, or anywhere else, can only be found through negotiation and dialogue.

The majority of my fellow young people live in rural areas.

Naturally, we look forward to the establishment and operationalization of the Commission, particularly in the light of the withdrawal from my country of the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL).

As is rightly pointed out by the Secretary General, poverty and associated problems remain a major impediment to the progress of youth worldwide.

My own compatriots in Russia have died at the hands of terrorists.

In my country, drug trafficking is the main source of the financing of violence.
