We had also sent apostles to people of earlier persuasions .

And indeed We sent Noble Messengers before you , to the former nations .

Indeed , We sent Messengers before thee , among the factions of the ancients ,

And assuredly We have sent apostles before thee among the sects of the ancients .

Indeed , We sent Messengers before you ( O Muhammad SAW ) amongst the sects ( communities ) of old .

We sent others before you , to the former communities .

( O Muhammad ) , certainly We did send Messengers before you among the nations which have gone by .

We verily sent ( messengers ) before thee among the factions of the men of old .

Certainly We sent apostles before you to former communities ,

We have sent forth before you Messengers among the factions of the ancients .

And We had certainly sent messengers before you , O Muhammad , among the sects of the former peoples .

We sent Messengers to the ancient people who lived before you .

And certainly We sent ( apostles ) before you among the nations of yore .

We sent messengers before you to the previous peoples ,

We did send messengers before thee amongst the religious sects of old

What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you

So what is the matter with these disbelievers , that they stare at you ( O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him ) ?

What ails the unbelievers , running with outstretched necks

What aileth those who disbelieve , toward thee hastening .

So what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten to listen from you ( O Muhammad SAW ) , in order to belie you and to mock at you , and at Allah 's Book ( this Quran ) .

What is with those who disbelieve , stretching their necks towards you .

But what is the matter with the unbelievers who are hurrying towards you

What aileth those who disbelieve , that they keep staring toward thee ( O Muhammad ) , open eyed ,

What is the matter with the faithless that they scramble toward you ,

But what is the matter with the unbelievers , that they strain their glances continuously towards them ,

So what is the matter with those who disbelieve , hastening from before you , O Muhammad ,

What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you ( Muhammad ) ,

But what is the matter with those who disbelieve that they hasten on around you ,

But what is the matter with those who deny the truth , that they come hastening towards you

Now what is the matter with the Unbelievers that they rush madly before thee

Of you comes my praise in the great assembly. I will pay my vows before those who fear him.

My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

Then We punished them . So look at the fate of those who denied .

So We took revenge from them therefore see what sort of fate befell those who denied !

So We took vengeance upon them and behold how was the end of them that cried lies .

Wherefore We took revenge on them . Behold , then how hath been the end of the beliers ?

So We took revenge of them , then see what was the end of those who denied ( Islamic Monotheism ) .

So We wreaked vengeance upon them . Behold , then , what was the fate of those who deny .

Then We exacted retribution from them . So do consider the end of those who gave the lie ( to the Prophets ) .

So We requited them . Then see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters !

Thereupon We took vengeance on them so observe how was the fate of the deniers .

So We took vengeance upon them , and see how the end was of those who lied .

So we took retribution from them then see how was the end of the deniers .

We took revenge on them . See how terrible the end of those who rejected ( Or revelations ) was !

So We inflicted retribution on them , then see how was the end of the rejecters .
