Indeed, the question of the membership of former presidents in the Council was raised at this point, with some suggesting that it should be replaced by a life membership in the Senate.

As we have stated before, my country believes that reform of the composition of the Security Council should include the expansion of its membership in both the permanent and the non permanent categories.
