The summit outcome is a clear mandate for change, addressing the challenges that the world has long faced.

The United Nations cannot simply consist of Governments, as has been the case at this summit.

A further analysis is being made of the reports to the 2005 Biennial Meeting of States.

UNCTAD provided technical support for the Marrakech meeting of the Group of 77 and China on SSC and SSC was one of the main topics at the ninth session of UNCTAD in June 2004.
