The Federal Courts Act provides for a period of 30 days to submit an application for judicial review.

During its visit to Kigali, the Group asked to review all of the documents but was provided with only partial information.

Nor has the State party contested the existence of precedent in the Constitutional Court establishing that the remedy of amparo is not to be used to reappraise facts or review sentences handed down by domestic courts.

The Audit Services Branch will update the checklist for the 2005 audit exercise.
