The author filed several more complaints with the Office of the Prosecutor General and with the Supreme Court.

2.7 According to the author, the Jindříchův Hradec District Office (District Office), by decision of 6 March 1998, reinterpreted the essence of the author's application and, arbitrarily characterized it as an application for confirmation of citizenship.

On 18 May 1984, one Mr. Bohsali, accompanied by a police agent, visited the author's office.

The District Office did not process the author's initial application for resumption of proceedings on retention of citizenship.

In the 1998 update of his communication, the author contends that the decision of the District Office is not a decision on his application .

3.1 The complainant claims that he has exhausted all available criminal domestic remedies by having filed a complaint with the Public Prosecutor's Office.

Firstly, the author stated that he complained about his conviction to the Office of the Public Defender, who, it appears, reviewed the author's case, and prepared a recommendation to the Presidium of the Supreme Court.

The governor of Barwon Prison continually reviewed the number of boxes of documents in the author's cell, to assess its safety and security, as the cell had been identified as a fire risk by the Fire Risk Assessment Officer of the prison.

4.18 On 10 February 2002, that is, at an early stage of detention, the Swedish national radio reported on a visit by one of its correspondents with the complainant in the office of a senior prison official.

The event, organized by the Office for Economic and Social Council Support and Coordination, Department of Economic and Social Affairs, will be presided over by H.E. Mr. Aminu Wali (Nigeria), Chairman of the Second Committee.

4.1 By note of 31 July 2001, the State party explained that the Office of the Procurator General had examined the author's criminal case under the supervisory procedure.

(i) Office of the Chief of the Geneva Office

2.8 On 28 July 1998, the author informed the Committee that on 17 June 1998, the Ministry of Interior had confirmed the decision of the District Office of 6 March 1998.

A recent study by the Central Planning Bureau in the Netherlands shows that workers with a permanent contract receive more employer funded training than workers with a temporary contract.

2.9 On 29 September 1998, the author informed the Committee that on the same date, the District Office of Prague 1 had issued a negative decision on Josefa Czernin's application for retention of citizenship.

The author reiterates that the decision of the District Office of 6 March 1998 was taken to formally satisfy the requirements laid down by the Constitutional Court in its judgement of 25 September 1997.

On 25 April 2000, one of the author's counsel before the Committee made a reasoned request to the Appeals Court Prosecutor's Office to file an ex officio appeal against the Judicial Council's decision.

As regards the second avenue, the complainant filed no civil action for compensation given that it is standard practice of the State party's courts to suspend civil cases for damages arising out of criminal offences until the completion of the respective criminal proceedings.

The Office of Legal Affairs informed OIOS that the Legal Counsel had provided oral comments to the Office of the High Commissioner.
