But you get the gist, so people have really started to sort of lose faith in institutions.

The judgment of such people cannot be trusted, to put it mildly.

The system has to fail, and people have to lose confidence in their elected leaders.

Fortunately, people also tend to trust their national leaders.

When people have no other choice but to trust each other, they will be able to do so and feel better for it.

Real damage is done when people lose confidence, not only in the elites, but in the system itself.

Talibanization gains ground when people lose faith in the capacity of the modern state to improve their lives.

As economic collapse caused the public to lose faith in the private sector and markets, faith in government grew.

I really believe that when people gain this confidence and we see it all the time at the d.school and at IDEO they actually start working on the things that are really important in their lives.

It is security, psychological security, that enables people to feel an expanded sense of self, that enables them to respect difference.

Self trust is a critical factor in trust creating.
