The Committee shall invite the State party concerned, through the Secretary General, to cooperate with it in the conduct of the inquiry.

(a) Representatives of the State party concerned

The Committee shall seek the cooperation of the State party concerned at all stages of an inquiry.

(c) has previously been submitted to the competent authorities of the State Party concerned, and

5. Following its visit, the Committee shall communicate to the State Party concerned its observations and recommendations.

The Committee may request the State party concerned to nominate a representative to meet with the member or members designated by the Committee.

4. If the State Party agrees to the visit, the Committee and the State Party concerned shall work together to define the modalities of the visit and the State Party shall provide the Committee with all the facilities needed for the successful completion of the visit.

Any question which may arise under paragraph 1 above shall be decided by the Committee without the participation of the member concerned.

2. The Committee shall notify the State Party concerned, in writing, of its intention to organize a visit, indicating the composition of the delegation and the purpose of the visit. The State Party shall answer the Committee within a reasonable time.

The text as it stood required that the method used to identify the party and ensure the party's link to the signed document should be as reliable as possible in the circumstances.

It shall notify it in writing of its intention to conduct a fact finding mission, indicating the purpose of the mission and the composition of the delegation.

10.3 The authors and the State party disagree on the effects of the logging in the areas in question.

The findings of the Committee shall be forwarded, through the Secretary General, to the complainant and to the State party concerned.

The Rapporteur(s), in discharge of the follow up mandate, may, with the approval of the Committee, engage in necessary visits to the State party concerned.

Where the Committee decides, as a part of its inquiry, that there should be a visit to the State party concerned, it shall, through the Secretary General, request the consent of the State party to such a visit.

It calls on the State party to submit the present concluding comments to all relevant ministries and Parliament so as to ensure their full implementation.

The Committee recommends to the State party that it provide more precise information about the bodies responsible for investigating these allegations.

(b) That the individual claims to be a victim of a violation by the State party concerned of any of the rights set forth in the Convention.

Admissible communications shall be considered by the Committee in the light of all information made available to it by the petitioner and the State party concerned.

The Committee shall take into account any observations that may have been submitted by the State party concerned, as well as any other relevant information.

Within six months, the State party concerned shall submit to the Committee written explanations or statements clarifying the matter under consideration and the remedy, if any, that may have been taken by that State party.

(b) A reduction in the time lag between the submission of a State party report and its examination by the relevant treaty body

(c) That promote adequate remuneration and equitable pay scales, taking into account the level of economic development of the State Party

The Committee shall submit to the State Party concerned a recommendation in the light of the response provided by that State Party in accordance with paragraph 2 above.

The Committee may indicate, if it deems it necessary, the type of information it wishes to receive from the State party concerned.

The State party concerned shall be invited to inform the Committee in due course of the action it takes in conformity with the Committee's suggestions and recommendations.

The Secretariat shall be responsible for the distribution of the Committee's final decisions to the author or authors and the State party concerned.

They shall request the State party to ensure that no obstacles are placed in the way of witnesses and other individuals wishing to meet with the designated members of the Committee and that no retaliatory measure is taken against those individuals or their families.

The Committee may indicate, if it deems it necessary, the type of information it wishes to receive from the State party concerned.

The conditions and guarantees concerning any hearings held in accordance with paragraph 1 of the present rule shall be established by the designated members of the Committee visiting the State party in connection with an inquiry, and the State party concerned.

Visits

3. After examining the findings of such an inquiry, the Committee shall transmit these findings to the State Party concerned together with any comments and recommendations.

The State party indicates that a complaint must be replied to within two months following the date it is served on the government department competent to handle it.

The Committee may request the State party concerned to provide the member or members designated by the Committee with any information that they or the State party may consider relates to the inquiry.

Where the Committee deems it warranted, the inquiry may include a visit to the territory of the State party concerned.

The Committee shall indicate a time limit for the submission of observations by the State party concerned, with a view to avoiding undue delay in its proceedings.

In such cases, the Committee shall transmit to the State party concerned, through the Secretary General, a reminder concerning the submission of such report or additional information and undertake any other efforts in a spirit of dialogue between the State concerned and the Committee.

(b) in accordance with any special arrangement for service between the claimant and the State concerned, if not precluded by the law of the State of the forum or

4. The State Party concerned shall, within six months of receiving the findings, comments and recommendations transmitted by the Committee, submit its observations to the Committee.

The opinion of the Committee shall be forwarded, through the Secretary General, to the petitioner and to the State party concerned, together with any suggestions and recommendations the Committee may wish to make.
