All MOTAPM minefields should be marked and fenced as early as possible after conflict so as to ensure the effective exclusion of civilians and humanitarian personnel and vehicles from the area.

At the time of writing, the Secretariat has not received any formal proposals from Parties of adjustments or amendments to the Protocol.

The Committee stands ready to take up any new budgetary proposals for the 2005 06 period resulting from the pending review of the Mission by the Security Council as soon as they become available.
