There is no discrimination between men and women in remuneration and benefits in the public sector.

In the private sector also, entities, which fall within the purview of labour laws, have to give the same remuneration, allowances and benefits to all employees doing the same work regardless of gender.

Under article 5, employers are strictly prohibited from taking gender into consideration in hiring, management and distribution of work, remuneration, granting of social benefits, imposition of disciplinary measures or termination of an employee's contract.
