Ecosystem health is critical to the quantity and quality of water supply.

Environmental valuation of ecosystem goods and services should become a core component of water management strategies.

Without access to fertile land, uncontaminated water and a healthy biological ecosystem, farmers' livelihood is in danger.

So what can they do about this remaining water footprint that can have serious effects on the ecosystem?
