In December 2001, the Department of Family and Community Services launched the Children's Support Program (Child Witness of Family Violence).

Furthermore, I am confident that the Committee will also be receiving full support from the Department for Disarmament Affairs and the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management, headed by Mr. Nobuyasu Abe and Mr. Chen Jian, respectively.

The Department comprises the Protection Operations Support Section, Protection Policy and Legal Advice Section, Protection Capacity Section, Resettlement Section and Protection Information Section.

Following this meeting the Department of Women's Affairs, with support from UNIFEM, contracted Grace Molisa to draft a preliminary CEDAW Report (Molisa, 2000b).

In order to resolve such problems, OIOS sought and received direct support from a number of senior managers of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations.

However, the Department of Family and Community Services provides corporate support that was previously undertaken by Office for Women staff when the office was in the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, such as communications, public relations and website maintenance.

The Department also worked with national machineries for the advancement of women to support countries emerging from conflict to meet their obligations under the Convention.

27.55 The Executive Office provides the administrative, managerial and programme support necessary for the implementation of the mandated activities of the Department of Public Information.

The integration of Department of Peacekeeping Operations civilian field personnel into a unified security management system is defined by a unique relationship of mutual support.

The Electoral Assistance Division is consistently engaged by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in the planning and management of electoral support aspects of peacekeeping operations.

The exchange of equipment and goods is coordinated with the Logistics Support Division at the Department of Peacekeeping Operations through liaison officers in each mission.
