NEW YORK The upcoming G 20 meeting is a make or break event.

During the same meeting on 28 April, New Zealand formulated the following statement

Participation in the ECOSOC Bretton Woods Institutions WTO Spring meeting (New York, 22 April).

New Caledonia will host the 2005 meeting of the Pacific Islands Forum Ministerial Committee.

Japan will participate in the meeting, including by sending staff from the New York mission.

The new Prime Minister took part in the opening of this meeting of the Group.

A second meeting of the task force took place in New York in April 2005.

A second meeting of UN Oceans was held in New York in May 2005 preceding the sixth meeting of the United Nations Informal Consultative Process on the Law of the Sea.

The next joint meeting will take place on 20 and 24 January 2005 in New York, coordinated by UNICEF.

A workshop on the issue will be convened by New Zealand before the Twenty ninth Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting.

New EU member states are meeting their individual Kyoto commitments. Most are committed to reducing emissions by 8 by 2010.

42. We request the Government of Indonesia, as host of the present Regional Ministerial Meeting, to transmit the outcome of the Meeting to the High Level Plenary Meeting of the 60th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in September 2005.
