The Programme is divided into two components G.3.1 Procurement Services and G.3.2 Logistics Services.

Transport services should be seen as part of logistics services, which incorporated transport and production chains into global supply chains.

The goal should be to foster private sector investment to provide efficient logistics services.

General description The Major Programme provides direction and management for six programmes Human Resource Management, Financial Services, Information Network and Knowledge Management Services, Procurement and Logistics Services, Legal Services and Buildings Management.

Transport, logistics and distribution services are crucial for moving goods and services from one country to another, while business, telecommunications and financial services reduce transaction costs and support trade.

Discussions also focus on definitions and principles, where Members seek to draw on the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures and the Agreement on Agriculture, while keeping in mind the specificities of services.
