In decision IDB.28 Dec.4, the Industrial Development Board restored the voting rights of Ukraine.

If the Director General was being asked to make a recommendation to the Industrial Development Board, it was obvious that the Board would take appropriate action after having digested that recommendation.

The paragraph also mentioned recommendations to the Industrial Development Board and it was clear that the future course of action would be determined on the basis of those recommendations.

Under item 7, the Board had before it the interim report of the External Auditor on the accounts of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization for the financial period 2004 2005 (IDB.30 8).

Industrial production is a measure of output of the industrial sector of the economy.

With regard to the budget, France was pleased that, at the thirtieth session of the Industrial Development Board in June, an agreement had been reached on the volume of regular budget expenditure for 2006 2007.

During the biennium 2004 2005 the UNIDO Programme and Budget Committee and Industrial Development Board considered a number of background documents and adopted recommendations for consideration by the General Conference, as shown in the table.
