The Agreement has been signed, and its implementation is currently under way.

More time was needed, however, for the implementation of the Agreement as well as the conclusion of a peace agreement on Darfur.

The Mission was crucial to the successful implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

The agreement established selection, review and reporting procedures for project approval and implementation.

Item 8. Implementation of the Cooperation Agreement with the United Nations Development Programme

Any delay in destruction would impede the effective implementation of that international agreement.

(a) To support implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement by performing the following tasks

In particular, we encourage greater participation in, and the effective implementation of, the Agreement.

The pilot phase alone would not suffice for evaluation of the entire Cooperation Agreement but would provide guidance for the implementation of that Agreement.

Under the Agreement, the Government of Canada will transfer 140 million to the Labrador Inuit, as well as 156 million for implementation of the Agreement.

With respect to the implementation of the Agreement, we encourage States to make additional contributions to the Assistance Fund under Part VII of the Agreement.

(i) To monitor and verify the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement and to investigate violations

The goal is to proceed with the full and unconditional implementation of the Pretoria Agreement.

To support the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement of 9 January 2005 and to carry out responsibilities of the United Nations outlined in the Agreement

The peace support operation would deploy its military component to monitor and verify the Ceasefire Agreement and to support the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

The key to the implementation of the Agreement is to be found at the regional level.

The urgency of proceeding with the full and unconditional implementation of the Pretoria Agreement cannot be overemphasized.

While the peace process is on track, serious concerns about implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement remain.

Crucially, both parties have quickly and authoritatively reaffirmed their commitment to the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

It welcomed the Comprehensive Peace Agreement and the establishment of UNMIS to support the implementation of its provisions.

We welcome all these initiatives but note that none has yet reached a stage of agreement for implementation.

The momentum gained must continue in order to move forward with the implementation of the broad agreement achieved.
