If you are a high net worth investor, or a sovereign wealth fund, it makes perfect sense to hold a small percentage of your assets in gold as a hedge against extreme events.

One or two States have shown concern that by freezing the assets of a listed NPO, they would be unable to fund projects under their control such as orphanages, hospitals or refugee centres.

This volume of assets allows the Fund to expand its investment frontier and requires it to build up a risk control mechanism, to control comprehensively not only investment risk but also operational risk and technology risk.
